Life

I kept telling myself, I just need to get through February, then I needed to get through March. Now I am telling myself, Rudd and Reid that I just need to get through April, then I can clean the garage, have a yardsale, play with Reid outside (hopefully it's not raining or snowing!!!), give my poor pugs a much needed bath, cook a decent meal, get my paper's graded and handed back the next day...the list goes on and on. After I tackle that long list, I would like to start scrapbooking. I realized this is Reid's SECOND Easter. He experienced a lot of "firsts" and I haven't scrapbooked anything.

I am so excited about tomorrow. I am cooking a big meal for my small family of three. It will be an Easter tradition in the making. I read to Reid tonight from his children's bible that Sierra gave me. Tomorrow Rudd, Reid and I will get our Easter outfits on and go to mass, come home and color Easter eggs. I have a spiral ham, homemade bread and homemade scalloped potatos on the menu. I can't wait. And for dessert, I am trying to decide between a pie, brownies (Reid's favorite) or cupcakes with the rainbow chip frosting (I think that's everyone's favorite!)

Here are some fun pictures of Reid I just feel like posting. He is changing so much, and is so much fun. He is giving us kisses and loves and is so close to talking, we are just waiting for words to replace the babble coming out of his mouth!!!
The top two were taken during spring break, we spend a week in Umatilla with my parents. We were able to visit Lisa and her boys. They cooked us dinner and Reid was able to play with Ryan and Gage.

Reid loves his ball pit, have I mentioned that? I get a little worried when I see Rizzi in it with him! Is it bad my son has to play with my dog...I fit in the ball pit with him but it doesn't leave much room for play...

Oh and have a great Easter. It sounds like you have a good one planned!

On another note, Emily had a great shower and she got all of the gifts you sent, including the ones you mailed to me!

I love that you are making memories with your own {little} family. Home is where the heart is and you are definitely building a legacy of love for your family.

Don't get too bogged down with garages to clean and books to scrap. There will be plenty of time for that later. :)

It was so great to see you guys during spring break. I'm am totally ready for you to move closer though!!!!

Happy Easter!
